4Culture advances community through arts, heritage, preservation and public art. A public agency chartered by King County government in 2003, 4Culture is committed to advancing the highest quality of life and sense of community through investing in cultural citizens and assets. With four program areas: Arts, Heritage, Preservation and Public Art, 4Culture advocates for culture; provides annual funding for artists, heritage specialists, and cultural organizations; manages public and private art projects; catalyzes and convenes the cultural community around specific issues and initiatives; and provides technical assistance to all areas of the county.
Allied Arts of Renton
The purpose of Allied Arts of Renton, Inc. is to cultivate a community that values all forms of art in order to enrich lives, make arts accessible to all, celebrate the diversity of art and encourage maximum participation in the arts.
Fun Facts:: Allied Arts sponsors a Chalk Arts Festival on Saturday of Renton River Days. Young artists age 9 and under receive a free prize. The remaining works are judged with cash prizes and gift certificates awarded to winners. In the fall the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra performs at the Renton IKEA Performing Arts Center; local student musicians are featured. The festival is free and admission prices to the concert are affordable so the whole family may attend.
Arts Alive!
Something for everyone at our storefront gallery/studio in Enumclaw! Free monthly guild demonstrations, a popular monthly Poetry Jam, and art classes in many different media.
Federal Way Coalition of Performing Arts
We have seven performing groups; FWCPA's mission is promoting the performing arts and working with the city toward a 700 seat performing arts, culture and conference center in Federal Way.
Highline Botanical Garden Foundation
Preserving Our Garden Heritage: We manage and develop a community-owned garden that demonstrates sound horticultural and environmental practices and that creates beauty for public enjoyment.
Kent Civic and Performing Arts Center
KCPAC is a non-profit organization supporting the performing arts in the greater Kent area with the goal of building a facility serving South King County with regional, local and international programs.
Fun fact: KCPA builds support for the arts by sponsoring events. For five summers we partnered with Kent School District and many civic sponsors to produce teen musicals. All profits went to college scholarships with over $39,000 awarded. The "At the Ridge Theatre" is continuing to produce a summer musical and a musical theatre camp at Kentridge High School under the direction of Jennifer Grajewski and awards all profits in scholarships.
Kent School District No. 415
The Kent School District services students from Kent, Covington, Black Diamond, and Renton. With 40 schools there are various concerts theatrical productions and presentations throughout the year.
King County Library System
The King County Library System has over 17 community libraries throughout South King County, offering a variety of story times, writers' groups, computer classes, book clubs, multicultural programs and citizenship preparation classes. Fun fact: KCLS is the second busiest Library System in the nation (just behind Queens, NY)!
Maple Valley Creative Arts Council
The Creative Arts Center gallery, stage and studio serve to promote the arts in a viewing, teaching and performing venue. Visual art, theater, music, spoken and written word and dance.

Pacific Rim Bonsai Collection
The Pacific Rim Bonsai Collection is an outdoor museum of living art featuring 60 outstanding bonsai from China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Canada and the United States elegantly displayed in a beautiful woodland setting.
Fun fact: View the smallest trees at one of the world’s largest forest products companies located in Federal Way, Washington. The Pacific Rim Bonsai Collection offers a guided tour every Sunday, or you may enjoy a self-guided tour; description signs are provided at each display.
