ArtsFund
ArtsFund expands support for non-profit arts organizations in King and Pierce Counties Washington. Our annual campaign to businesses and individuals along with earnings on endowments raises about $4 million which is allocated to over 75 non-profit arts groups annually.
Auburn Arts Commission
The city of Auburn Arts Commission fosters cultural and economic growth through its high-visibility art programs, including its BRAVO! performance series, free summer concerts, City Hall Gallery, public art collection and arts education program.
Fun fact: The city of Auburn Arts Commission, a model among suburban local arts agencies, is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Burien Arts Commission
The City of Burien's Arts Commission promotes and nurtures the arts as an essential component of City life. The Commission focuses on development of Public Art and Arts Education while also providing annual Downtown Art Walks , Summer Outdoor Concerts , City Hall art exhibits and support for Burien's non-profit arts organizations.
Fun fact: The Commission was formed in 1998 making it one of the newest in South King County following Burien's incorporation as a City in 1993.
Covington Arts Commission
The Arts Commission is a Cultural Services organization. The Arts Commission is charged with assessing the artistic and cultural needs of the citizens of Covington and to ensure the health and livability of the community
Des Moines Arts Commission
The City of Des Moines Arts Commission established in 2006 represents the interests of the City in matters of the arts to inform assist sponsor or coordinate with arts organizations artists and others for the cultural advancement of the community.
Enumclaw Parks Rec. & Cultural Services
The City of Enumclaw coordinates, promotes, and supports literary, visual, and performing artists and events, both amateur and professional
Fun fact: There are more artists in Enumclaw than any other city its size.
Federal Way Arts Commission
Federal Way Coalition of Performing Arts
A non-profit umbrella organization of eight performing arts groups formed in 1989. FWCPA’s main purpose it to work toward a large (1,000 seat) performance hall in Federal Way. The coalition also presents at least one concert a year.
Fun fact: Represents over 300 performers.
Friends of Federal Way Libraries
The Friends of Federal Way Libraries support the King County Library Systemıs vision of providing an intellectual adventure for everyone by sponsoring cultural, literary and early learning activities.
4Culture
4Culture advances community through arts, heritage, preservation and public art. A public agency chartered by King County government in 2003, 4Culture is committed to advancing the highest quality of life and sense of community through investing in cultural citizens and assets. With four program areas: Arts, Heritage, Preservation and Public Art, 4Culture advocates for culture; provides funding opportunities for arts and heritage organizations; manages public and private art projects; catalyzes and convenes the cultural community around specific issues and initiatives; and provides technical assistance resources.
Highline Botanical Garden Foundation
Preserving Our Garden Heritage: We manage and develop a community-owned garden that demonstrates sound horticultural and environmental practices and that creates beauty for public enjoyment.
Institute for Community Leadership
Kent Arts Commission
The Kent Arts Commission, established in 1975, provides leadership in the arts and works to improve the quality of life in Kent through performing arts, visual arts, festivals and events.
Fun fact: Kent is home to Mill Creek Canyon Earthworks by renowned Bauhaus artist Herbert Bayer. Dedicated in 1982, the earthworks is a nationally significant work of art which provides a vital environmental function as a flood water retention basin.
Kent Civic and Performing Arts Center
KCPAC is a non-profit organization supporting the performing arts in the greater Kent area with the goal of building a facility serving South King County with regional, local and international programs.
Fun fact: KCPA builds support for the arts by sponsoring events. For five summers we partnered with Kent School District and many civic sponsors to produce teen musicals. All profits went to college scholarships with over $39,000 awarded. The "At the Ridge Theatre" is continuing to produce a summer musical and a musical theatre camp at Kentridge High School under the direction of Jennifer Grajewski and awards all profits in scholarships.
Kent School District No. 415
The Kent School District services students from Kent, Covington, Black Diamond, and Renton. With 40 schools there are various concerts theatrical productions and presentations throughout the year.
Normandy Park Arts Commission
The Commission is responsible for encouraging and aiding programs for cultural enrichment of Normandy Park citizens, and coordinating and strengthening existing organizations in the field of art.
Pacific Rim Bonsai Collection
The Pacific Rim Bonsai Collection is an outdoor museum of living art featuring 60 outstanding bonsai from China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Canada and the United States elegantly displayed in a beautiful woodland setting.
Fun fact: View the smallest trees at one of the world’s largest forest products companies located in Federal Way, Washington. The Pacific Rim Bonsai Collection offers a guided tour every Sunday, or you may enjoy a self-guided tour; description signs are provided at each display.
Renton Municipal Arts Commission
The Renton Municipal Arts Commission promotes community involvement in the arts through exposure, education and participation.
SeaTac
We offer a diverse selection of music and theatrical performances in the summer. Photography and fine arts exhibits held annually.
The Southwest Guild of the Seattle Art Museum
The SW Guild is affiliated with The Seattle Art Museum. We meet in Normandy Park on the fourth Tuesday of the month from September to April and feature speakers and exhibitors of a variety of visual arts. Guests are always welcome.
Tukwila Arts Commission
The five-member City of Tukwila Arts Commission encourages and aids programs for the cultural enrichment of the Tukwila community. Sponsored programs include the Commission's Annual Art Show & Competition and support of the Community Actors' Summer Theater in Tukwila (C.A.S.T.T.). The Commission is empowered to advise and recommend public art purchases to the Mayor and City Council.
Fun fact:: The Art Commission will assist the City in its 2008 Centennial Celebration with the presentation of a significant art piece!

The Equity & Diversity Commission of Tukwila is a partnership between the City of Tukwila & the Tukwila School District working together to promote cultural diversity programs and activites.
