South King County Cultural Coalition
The South King County Cultural Coalition aims to increase the visibility and participation in South King County cultural programs by connecting artists, audiences and cultural resources.
The coalition was born over a community luncheon hosted by King County Councilmember Julia Patterson in March 2004 to discuss the artistic and cultural vitality of South King County. It’s comprised of more than 60 organizations (and growing!), which have joined forces to promote and preserve arts and heritage in the vibrant communities south of Seattle.
The coalition’s key projects include developing this website with an updated events calendar as well as collaborative marketing, fundraising and advocacy initiatives.

The coalition is open to all arts and heritage organizations that present, produce, preserve or propel culture in South King County, including theater, music, dance, literary, heritage and visual art organizations. Government and education agencies are also eligible.
